Large Talavera Donkey Planter | Hand-Painted Ceramic Burro

Bring joyful personality to your garden or patio with this Talavera Donkey Planter. Designed by The Talavera Hub and handcrafted at our family partner workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico. This piece is hand-painted and kiln-fired with a lead-free glaze.

Shaped like a cheerful donkey, this planter is hand-painted with intricate floral and geometric Talavera designs in rich oranges, yellows, greens, and blues. Its expressive eyes and upright ears give it a lively, friendly appearance perfect for brightening up any space.

Its tall and playful form is great for entryways, patios, or garden corners. This piece measures approximately 22" tall.

Each donkey planter is handmade and varies slightly in pattern and expression. I ship them at random to ensure a one-of-a-kind piece. If you have a specific preference, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

Made from ceramic and glazed with lead-free finishes, each planter is carefully crafted and painted by hand. While durable, it’s best to display it in a stable area to avoid tipping or weather damage.
