Bring playful charm to your space with this Talavera Dachshund Statue. Designed by The Talavera Hub and crafted by hand at our family partner workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico. This piece is hand-painted and kiln-fired with a lead-free glaze.
This decorative dachshund features a forest green base with hand-painted peach-toned flowers and delicate detailing across the body. The vibrant glaze and joyful expression make it a standout accent piece for dog lovers and folk art collectors alike.
Its mid-size form is great for shelves, entry tables, or as a statement piece on kitchen counters. This piece measures 13" long and 7.5" tall.
Because each statue is handmade, expect slight variations in shape, color, and brushwork. I select each one at random, but if you have a preference, feel free to message me—I’ll do my best to help.
Handmade from durable ceramic and finished in a glossy, lead-free glaze. Though sturdy, it should be handled with care and kept indoors or under cover to preserve its beauty.
Handwash with a damp cloth.
If used outdoors, please bring inside during winter. Freezing temperatures can cause ceramic to crack due to moisture expansion.
I package every statue carefully to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. If anything goes wrong during shipping, I’ll make it right.
