Talavera Turtle Planter | Hand-Painted Mexican Ceramic Garden Pot

Add a splash of personality to your garden or patio with this Talavera Turtle Planter. Designed by The Talavera Hub and handcrafted at our family partner workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico. This piece is hand-painted and kiln-fired with a lead-free glaze.

This turtle-shaped planter features a hand-painted mix of bold florals, geometric accents, and vivid colors across its shell. The dark blue rim contrasts beautifully with the patchwork of reds, blues, and yellows, bringing joyful energy to any plant display.

Its large size is perfect for medium to large plants, or as a standalone statement piece. This planter measures approximately 20" long and 13" wide.

Each turtle planter is handmade and one-of-a-kind. Expect slight variations in color and pattern. I ship them randomly to ensure each piece is unique, but if you’d like a specific style, feel free to message me and I’ll do my best to help.

Made from ceramic and finished with a glossy, lead-free glaze, each piece is carefully shaped and painted by hand. While it’s built to last, it should be placed in secure areas to protect it from tipping or weather extremes.

If used outdoors, please bring inside during winter. Freezing temperatures can cause ceramic to crack due to moisture expansion.
