Brighten your space with bold character using this Talavera Rooster Planter. Designed by The Talavera Hub and handcrafted by our family partner workshop in Guanajuato, Mexico. This piece is hand-painted and kiln-fired with a lead-free glaze.
Featuring a striking rooster shape with vivid reds, blues, yellows, and greens, this piece brings festive flair to any corner. The intricate hand-painted patterns across the feathers and body reflect the heart of Mexican folk art.
The wide top opening makes it ideal for small to medium plants. This piece features an opening approximately 12" in diameter.
Every rooster is handmade, meaning each one has its own unique color details and personality. I ship pieces at random to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience. If you have a preference, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
Made from sturdy ceramic and finished with a glossy, lead-free glaze, each planter is painted entirely by hand. Though built to last, it’s best displayed in safe areas to avoid tipping or breakage.
Handwash with a damp cloth.
Note: Includes drainage hole. For indoor use, consider using a liner or removing the plant when watering.
If used outdoors, please bring inside during winter. Freezing temperatures can cause ceramic to crack due to moisture expansion.
I take special care in packaging to ensure your rooster arrives safely. If it gets damaged in transit, message me and I’ll make it right.

The color and quality is nothing like the item pictured. It’s a completely different color scheme. There are areas where it appears that they forgot to paint it. There are chipped areas, and there are areas where the paint appears faint.
Product arrived just as pictured absolutely beautiful. It did arrive damaged even though it was packaged securely. But the seller responded quickly and started the refund. I will be ordering again hopefully it arrives in one piece I absolutely need this planter 🙂
Iti is well made but the only thing was it wasn’t the same colors that showed in the picture. I liked the item because of the yellow shown in the picture and that was disappointing but it is still beautful.
